Protagonist
I stand on the stage of life
Draped in a dream
And as I perform I know
I am but the protagonist of my own play
Sometimes wearing the mask of the heroine
And sometimes that of the villain
I smile, I laugh, I cry, I kill
Drinking in the venom of life
Each passing day bringing me
One step closer to death
I see, I sigh, I wonder
For aspirations as rampant as mine
I want to reach the sky
I dream………
There is a sinking feeling of déjà vu all around
I know, I realize, I feel
Left alone on the stage of life
Me and my dream
I am but the child of destiny.

You have much wisdom young lady. Keep doing what you are doing and by the time you are twice your age, you will have thousands of poems and practice writing them. You can only get better as you are already great!
