I'm a proud Jamaican child,
I play with my mates in the lush parks,
We go to the rivers to splash and play,
We also go to see the big ocean,
It is called a beach,
Our beaches are blue like the sky,
My parents keep a close watch,
My daddy swirl me on a float,
He said it will keep me safe,
As I enjoy the blue beach,
When it's time for home,
We gather all the shells we can carry,
and head straight home,
Full of shells sand and dreamy smiles.
