Psalm 141 Poem by Frank McEleny

Psalm 141

O Lord my heart it cries to you
Please hear me when I call
I lift my hands and worship you
Without you I would fall

Coals of fire upon my lips
Two hearts that stand as one
I'll walk with you and you alone
Without you I'm undone

The wicked cause me great distress
I long to see the day
When Christ shall reign forevermore
All tears are wiped away

Until that day, I lift my eyes
To Christ the risen King
Exalted one, Emmanuel
Of Him the angels sing
