Psalm 8 Poem by Parker Perrella

Psalm 8

Our Lord, ELOHIM-*
All the earth is filled with your majesty!
The heavens are saturated with the radiance of your glory!
I observe the work of your hands, in all of its excellency,
All creation is sustained by your Divine bounty.
Who am I that you would remember me?
Who am I that you would be kind to me?
That you would show such tender mercy
By sending Jesus Christ to redeem fallen humanity?
Such love is too lofty for human understanding!
That through His suffering,
He might be exalted above His adversaries,
Crowned with honor and glory,
With everything in subjection under His feet! **
Our Lord, ELOHIM-
All the earth is filled with your majesty!
