Heart, dear little
pink blinking on-and-off heart
(blueblush, blueblush)
little greased and creased
down the middle heart.
Arrow, dear little
white blinking on-and-off arrow
trailing a sizzle tail
through the black night
leaving fire in your wake.
Cheese, dear little
hunk of smoked and toasted cheese
spitted, dripping whey
flaring the grizzled coals, that's
you, O heart,
when the arrow hits
the cheese-fatty push,
hissing and dripping,
sizzling and whistling, and
the lovely odors ascend.
the lovely odors ascend.
