Purring Sea Poem by Tanner Herndon

Purring Sea

Hundreds of days alone
With hundreds of nights with you,
Nights calm like a purring sea,
With words like, 'I love you'
Spinning intoxicated around my head
Reverberating off my skull and echoing
Into my heart, the miners of my heart,
Digging deeper into our love,
With you providing the only light
The only sound and life to this relationship,
You show the way for us all, so we can
Delve deeper and get lost forever
In the affinity that is our love,
Whilst wearing infinity together
Like a glove, and being without it,
Is insane
Like a drug.
