Quandry Poem by bob barci

Quandry

I'm in a peculiar frame of mind.
A part of me wants to write,
while at the same time,
another part of me doesn't.
I do, but then, I don't.
I'm in a quandry.
Ooooh! I have to make a decision.
I can easily go either way.
Which way will I lean?
Half of me says -
'Yes, write something.'
The other half of me says -
'No, you're not in the right mood,
and you haven't a subject.'
I can argue that, though.
I do have subject, but not urge.
Subject is - I haven't the urge to write.
So, I could, and I should.
Problem is, I can argue that, too.
I've already several verses on that subject.
So, I have to decide.
Write yet another verse on that subject,
or wait and hopefully come up with something new?

Well, I see the struggle is won.
I made a decision, both good and bad.
I guess in a way
both halves of me won.
It's done,
so I won't complain.
Adios, until next time.
