Quiet Storm Poem by Tim Holmes Jr

Quiet Storm

Rating: 5.0

Full of emotion that are becoming harder to hide,
Life is interesting hold on and enjoy the ride.
My heart is actually larger than its dimensions,
But I can't cover my soul's desire for attention.
I want to be love, and not simply for my ability
But for who I am what I am along with my personality.
Entrapped by a promise undervalued and over used,
My patience is at it's end taking this silent abuse.
They say that opposites attract, yeah that's only with magnets,
No commons, the emptiness, the silence makes thing stagnant.
Doing the right thing comes at a price
You go above and beyond all to hear 'That's Nice'
To understand me you must have knowledge of my heart,
I live in music, poems and pictures come to think about it I am ART.
I am compassionate about things that are not my taste
But with the false sense of happiness, it seem like a waste.
I love to see, better yet MAKE others happy
The only reason I hurt, I don't feel the reciprocity.
