To unlearn.
Is not quite easy,
As was to not learn,
Back in school.
Unlearn is a complexity,
Deliberately inflicted on,
Arising from the bedrock of utter ignorance.
To unlearn is to learn anew.
Anew and new both.
It does not begin and end in rote.
Tis the end of rote, and the beginning of a scholarly note,
One not written on paper with ink,
That which is born,
From the carving of rocks by mans first imagination,
The irresistible urge,
To pain, grab and soak in freedom,
Of self from self inflicted
Brutality.
