R.I.P Momo Poem by sERENA iNTERIANO

R.I.P Momo

I thought it would never happen,
at least not to us.
I thought you'd always be here.
You had your whole life ahead of you.
And what happened just isn't fair.
I never thought this could hurt so much.

I wish I could see you again,
See you laugh and smile.
And when things go wrong,
I wish you were here to say, 'It's OK, '
And give me a big hug.
I wish I could change what happened.

I thought she should be punished,
I guess the courts thought different.
Why does she get to live her life,
And yours ended so sudden?
I know her time will come, eventually,
And I know she will severely regret it.

It shouldn't have happened,
You were way too young,
It was way too early.
Your time was just beginning
When the sun set on your life at noon.
Don't worry little cousin, you'll always be loved
