God has come to say that it's time for you to leave
Though as thankful I must be
I never thought that you would be before me
You were such a beautiful person inside and out,
I know that you would tell me to not live in doubt
Don't doubt the choice that I made
This is what was meant to be
Though your dad and my dad had many things in common
Your dad took it up a step when he took that bat
I may never forgive myself for not being there
or ever forgive your dad
But I can rest easy knowing that your not here in the same place
I know your not here physically
but your still here for me, emotionally
I will be there sooner or later and we will be together once again
my friend without a worry and be in peace
