Rain Poem by Janine Alyssa Navarro

Rain

Bathe me in surprise
The shower curtain ran away
Dimming lights, slow trickling;
Mock my trembling shadow.

Stars are fading
The warmth has its own search
What are we looking for now?
The walls crack a little.

Let go. Take a deep breath.
Underneath the sheets
I can still trace your heat
I think I better start running.
