Rain In Summer Poem by Nayyab Younas Khan

Rain In Summer

Rating: 5.0

It was summer, and it rained
I can't express the beauty, world gained

On my way, Oh I saw, A beauteous sight
Ecstatic children chuckled spreading their light

The faces streaked with grimness became delighted
Blowing wind made them cheer who once felt slighted

I wonder if I can be The Rain in Summer too
Making their dark gloomy skies A little blue

So let's not waste our precious time in loopy yammer
And play our parts in the world like Rain in Summer
