Rainbow Poem by Kevin Eaglesfield

Rainbow

Trying to avoid the cracks,
I didn't hear you creeping up.
By the time I raised my head,
My tears had turned to salty steam
Which caught your neon smile
And fractured like a rainbow,
Except blue.
