Rainbows Poem by cadance cunningham

Rainbows

we gave up rainbows for a spectrum
gave up mysteries for a message
threw away all of our causes
so they could show us higher knowledge
listen and do what you're told
on your knees looking for that gold
you'll understand it when you get old
you'll be too stupid to even know
one thing I can tell you is this
ignorance is really bliss
so much happier as kids
all of your schools are full of it
telling you that god doesn't exist
keep reading till you get it
everything you know is a myth
its all a brain washing mist
gave up sweet talk for photosynthesis
sat in classrooms till we forgot our wish
they're doing it now to your kid
he isnt that one in a million
we gave up magic for a formula
and you just kept absorbing it
took your light and gave you a gold star
gave you a grade and said you'll go far
