Ram Poem by Justin Gildow

Ram

I swear I can see through you
I can see your whole life
Your whole world
Right straight through your eyes
Right straight through your soul
You stare at me awkwardly
But I know better

Depression runs through you like a night train
And you drag your belongings and the world on your shoulders
As each day you feel by the minute you're getting older
And things just get too difficult to explain

I know inside that you'll stay the same
Until something new comes along
It's amazing how we think love and life are like games
Breathe in, breathe out
