Come an' cut the evil eye
An' destroy the evil day
If you shine in the sky
There's no devil to pay
Some are left high and dry
With poverty on a tray
If you shine in the sky
There's no lead to astray
Some are hungry for you
For your holistic healing
Some have a crush on you
Oh, you know the feeling
Some people scan the sky
To see the crescent Moon
Some see you at first sigh'
Wax and wane a new Moon
Rise into the dull sky
Swerve an' shine in June
Needless to say goodbye
You split the foes at noon
Your light is easy on the eye
For its bodacious bright
Peace will be soon in sight
For your heavy height
Remain dull for a day
Remain bright for a week
Remain full for a month
Remain full for a year.
