Realization Poem by Daniel Trevelyn Joseph

Realization

Heart has reasons of which Reason
Itself is not aware, said Blaise Pascal.

At much lower level, I cannot measure
The needs which I inwardly have!

When I open up, I am wondering whether
At all I should, but then the stream begins

As it goes on struggling, picking up speed
I find so much of it coming through

I had not realized that I had tanked so much,
Kathopanishad comes to my mind.

God created our senses to go outward,
Leaving it difficult to see inward.
