Reassurance Poem by Mary Champion

Reassurance

from the goddess

Oh, my foolish Son
do not beat yourself up now.
You have harmed our Earth,
but, had you not acted so,
you would never understand

lessons life must teach
to all of those who aspire
to retain their form
eternally - and I do -
with your skilful assistance.

You have treated Earth
like it was disposable.
Luckily it is!
I have plans for a new world
that we can build together-

A Crystal Palace
lit by a platinum sun
will rise from ashes
when this cosmos is shattered
and your promised Kingdom comes.

This is not a licence to wreck the place even more than you have done so far. You do need to get your act together.
