Red Poem by Raven Maloy

Red

Mortal mind cannot fathom
How this short a distance can be so far away
Red in the glass
Red on her lips
Red spills endlessly
Red is my world
Words have lost their heft
Their meanings are gone
Minds speak louder than tounges
Who knew silence could be so loud
Eyes locked
This is only begining
