Refl I Believe Poem by Mill Field

Refl I Believe

Rating: 4.0

I believe in God,
The compassionate, the merciful;
I am a Muslim.

I believe in God,
Merciful and forgiving;
I am a Jew.

I believe in God,
All-knowing and merciful;
I am a Christian.

If anyone shoot us do we not bleed?
If anyone bomb us do we not die?
If anyone terrorise us do we not suffer?

I am every man, woman and child,
The land, its livestock and its heritage.

How long, O God, how long
Till we follow Thy precepts
And peace and harmony
Prevail in our hearts and in our lives?
