Remember me
Every time the sea comes to shore
And when I am physically no more
Remember me
When the birds stop singing
And when the clocks stop ticking
Remember the things I said
The bad and good that I did
Remember when you lay in bed
Remember the times we shared
And the burdens we bore
Remember whenever you can
Remember me as
An imperfect, fearful, loving and happy man

So when the rain comes pouring down
And I’m no longer around
Even if history forgets
Please remember me
Keep our memories close
But keep our love closer
People may move on
Or be taken away
But memories will remain
Remember me if only for a second
An hour or a day
Please don’t throw our memories away.
