Remember Me Poem by Angela Brown

Remember Me

Remember me, when we first met
Remember how you touched me

How you made love to me

Remember, how you promised me

To always be there for me
You lied you shattered our dreams
Let me say my last goodbye

Cause I want to hurt no more

And I'm tired of pretending

Like I am the only one you love

Remember me for our last kiss
Remember me for the love I give
For the times we were together
Remember me, remember me
Remember my soft-spoken lips
Remember how we held hands
Can't believe its come to this
Remember me, remember me

My lost love caught in a game

But you were not faithful

Now I'm broken and shameful
Tired of lying to myself
When there was someone you
Loved more than anyone else
I'm hurting drowning in the pain
Don't want to play this silly
Game no more
I'm ready to say last goodbyes

I'm moving on with my life
Got no more tears left to cry
I'm done with your alibis
You'll remember me when you're alone
When you realize what is gone

Remember me for our last kiss
Remember me for the love I give
For the times we were together
Remember me, remember me
Remember my soft-spoken lips
Remember how we held hands
Can't believe its come to this
Remember me, remember me

Only wanted someone to hold

Needed support, someone to love

I long for your touch

I need to stop pretending

Our love has lost its meaning

I'm ready to move on

All while I'm still in love with you
I'll always regret loving you

Remember me for our last kiss
Remember me for the love I give
For the times we were together
Remember me, remember me
Remember my soft-spoken lips
Remember how we held hands
Can't believe its come to this
Remember me, remember me

Remember the sparkle in my eyes
Remember when I made love to you
Remember my last touch
Remember me, remember me
