Repent Dear Child

Repent, return to me my child
Consider all you’ve done
Humble yourself be reconciled
Through Jesus Christ my Son

Repent dear child and see The Light
Repent and seek my face
Receive with love a robe of white
Receive my saving grace

Repent, to sin lock tight your door
Refuse the devil’s hand
Set course dear child for Heaven’s shore
Enter The Promised Land

Repent and know the truth of love
Cast foolishness aside
Let wisdom pave The Way above
Let Jesus be your Guide

Repent desert the devil’s bed
Despise satanic wares
Repent leave now the walking dead
And seek The One who cares

Repent return and live today
Let Jesus bear your load
Allow His love now pave the way
Along life’s troubled road

Repent of pride repent of shame
Of selfishness and lust
Receive instead a brand new name
Form Him you’ve learned to trust

Repent dear child with heart as stone
With soul as dark as night
Repent and walk no more alone
Become my great delight
