Resentment Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Resentment

It aggravates me when you want to suddenly do your job after years of turning away
After everything’s okay, you want to worry
Where were you when I was getting abused?
Where were you when I was screaming for help?
Where were you when I cried for you?
There is so much anger in my heat.
Why do you want to tell me what to do after running off to have fun?
My whole life, I walked with my head down
If I even thought abought acting like a kid, you got mad.
You took your failures out on me.
You never once tried to protect me
I have no idea what was going through your head.
So please help me understand.
Please tell me why you did what you did.
