Responsibilites Poem by Nightshade Starlight

Responsibilites

I can feel an unbearable weight,
Being put on my shoulders.
It has been there
Since I can remember.
The unbearable weight,
That no child should have to deal with.
The responsibilites that a forced on me.
Since I was small,
I have known what must be done.
I have been placed in a postion,
Where I don't even know how to be a teenager,
I don't even remember what it was like
To be a child anymore.
I had to grow with so much
On my shoulders
That I can't do anything else.
These Responsibilites have weighed on me,
Like an unbearable torture.
Do I ever get to be
The one person I can't?
Do I ever get to be me?
