Rest In Peace Poem by Mark Hutchings

Rest In Peace

Rating: 5.0

Only through death can one find true peace.
Life is purgatory: God's place for sinners.
Before birth, there is no pain or fear;
Until death, there is only pain and fear;
After death, there is only peace.
A crime committed against the Lord
Ensured our existence on this Earth.
Only by suffering for 80 years
Will He forgive us.
The Good die young,
The Bad die old.
Reincarnation is a second term of punishment.
Death is God's act of forgiveness.
Oh Lord, please have Mercy on my soul.
Forgive me Lord, take me back to your Kingdom.
Let me DIE: I am GOOD: I deserve PEACE.
AMEN.
