Retrospectively …

Philosophically…
Say A prayer for me
For the never ending pain
Has brought me to my knees.

Metaphorically…
Say a prayer for me
For my tears ended long ago
VIA their missions
In attempting too
Wash away the pain,
Causing all their drippings
To be dripped oh so dry
Now, they cannot even cry.

Metaphorically…
Say a prayer for me
They say the sun does shine
Most every day
I say, they are in a sea of make believe
For the lightest and brightest days
Are at best
A darkened cobalt blue.

Reality…
Say a prayer for me
For the never ending pain
Has brought me to my knees
What once was bright
Now, oh so dim.
What once was never ending
Still travel so,
But at a different angle
Then happiness goes.

Pessimistically…
Say a prayer for me
For the never ending pain
Has brought me beyond my trembling knees
For they to
Crumbled years ago…
Say a prayer for me.
