For Mother Earth's sake, return my mother to me -
Oh God!
Don't let me gaze at rivers,
they'll dry up.
Don't let me look at soil,
it'll crumble.
Don't gaze at the sky,
lightning will strike.
I'm embracing fire,
flames engulf me,
Spreading everywhere -
feet, thighs, womb, chest, heart, brain.
I'm burning, purifying, emptying myself.
If I don't purify,
how will you survive, Oh God? '
