Revenge
Pale and thin
The roses have now withered,
Your promise starts to appear
Like a distant whisper,
Taunting gaze, my stare too harsh,
Too blunt are the words I say,
Once upon a time
You were blind to my pain,
Once again in time
I am blind to yours.
