Revoking your tenure, it's time to say goodbye
Revoking your tenure, it's time to bid farewell
Revoking your tenure, no longer can you stay
Revoking your tenure, your time has come to an end
For years you've roamed these halls
As a teacher, you stood tall
But now the time has come
For your tenure to fall
Your lessons were once filled with grace
Your students hung on every word you'd say
But as the years went by
Your spark began to fade away
Revoking your tenure, it's not an easy task
Revoking your tenure, it breaks our hearts in two
But the education of our children
Is something we must pursue
Your students' grades began to slip
Your lesson plans were out of date
The passion you once had
Has now gone and met its fate
We tried to give you guidance
We tried to give you time
But you refused to adapt
And now we must draw the line
Revoking your tenure, it's not about pride
Revoking your tenure, it's about what's right
For the sake of our students
We can no longer let you hold tight
The years of service you have given
Will not be forgotten, that we swear
But now it's time for someone new
To bring in a breath of fresh air
Our school will move on
With or without you
But as we say goodbye
We'll cherish the good times too

For both you and our students, we suppose

We revoke your tenure today
