Reward Of Consequence Poem by Laju E. Oyewoli

Reward Of Consequence

I have invited the lizard for a feast
And I must watch it eat
I have dined with the devil with a short hand
And I must watch my hand rot
I have chewed the sweetest herb
And I must swallow the bitterest pill
For a reward awaits every consequences
