Ridin' The Rails Of Zen Poem by Ernie Lowe

Ridin' The Rails Of Zen

I 'm a happy hippy hobo riding the rails of Zen.
Sundown don't bother me none.
Idlin' thru the night fidlin' thru the day
telling stories of yesteryear.
Findin' poems I wrote for tomorrow
buried in the past
Someone maybe said
'yesterday's vision's just tomorrow's despair.'

I dunno dunno dunno I just dunno no more

Remembering days of glory....
but I better say better than
your everyday dog's success.
Days of speaking/writing/singing
some times in the streets
but never in the Bored Rooms
where they makeup futures
bet on futures, never learn from the passed.
Just spilt milk over the goddamn.

I dunno dunno dunno I just dunno no more

Grandpa and Grandma sold their bottom land
Tule River running through it.
Army Chorus built a dam,
made a lake called it Lake Success.
As good as your everyday dog's success
I guess.

I dunno dunno dunno I just dunno no more

Found this dude's website with 52 shades of collapse.
Hard collapse, kindly collapse, Mad Max collapse,
trying hard not to collapse collapse.
Links to every once in a while honey chile'

But I do believe the dams done broke already
water's running thru the streets
while the hills are all on fire.
Firefighters are all burnt out
need a stress management workshop.
Maybe mindfullness on the run.

Like I said, did ya tear it, hear it, can ya bear it?

I dunno dunno dunno I just dunno no more
