Right Jobs Poem by C. Bake Baker

Right Jobs

It's gonna be alright, cause I've cheated all along
Tidal waves of fists reduce the feeling that I'm wrong

Do you know what I am saying? I knew it from the start
Only way to make pain stop is to lose the restless heart

Take care of me, and give me everything you want
Nothing you can do can save me, You're exactly what I'm not

In my mind your probelms swell, something you left out
You even forgot to make the smell of what love can be about

Sunshine stickers all around, for doing a good job
Lost your virginity trying to find the 'one and only' god

Are you confused of your place? Just to lie with me
Swished around that thoughtful haze of of what you used to be

Motel rooms and dirty bowls, kissed one too many times
Pissed away my life itself and poisoned out my mind
