I am back in these crowded halls
Familiar words ring
And it all falls
I find my heart and loose it all
I feel it all fall down
From a glimmering world on my cheek
The drugs gone
And my mind turned back on
Light is such a painful thing
As the darkness soothes me
I can’t feel
Only dream
I escaped the cage with broken wings
Now drowning in a cruel pool of memories
Lost in what I found
Found in what I lost
Though it let go
I still hold on
It runs over and over
Like my favorite song

All the things I should have done
All for naught
It doesn’t belong
I’m here and you’re gone
