And if you see me walking by and the tears are in my eyes
look away, Babi look away
Spinning the ugly words said round and round my head
how can EYe rise if Eye am so far down
have you ever seen a rodeo clown
painted face and destined fate
as we sit and wait
rise as you are able and join with me to sing
Glory to the newborn King
He has risen and washed away each of my sin
Eye will never get today again
the day it all went to hell
oh boy do eye know me all too well.
the moments drag on for eons and Eye am left to stew in my spew
sitting here in faith but hunkered down in fear
is there a way out of here
will Eye burn forever if Eye am so clever
or will we rise as we are able and stand hand in hand
give it to God for he owns this land
Buried up to my neck in the sand
lost far from any rock or safety in sight
he won't bee coming hom eto me tonight
rise as you are able - keep the candle lit
is it really time to quit
