Your wisdom is great,
And you know all there is to know,
And we appreciate what you teach us.

To me, you are the grandfather I never had,
For you are great,
And you give great advice,
And you are wise,
And you seek the greatness in everyone.
You are a mentor to me and many others,
And your wisdom knows no bounds.
We cannot thank you enough
For the insight you have provided.

Thank you for everything you have done
And all the great poems you have left behind.
