Rocky Giants Poem by bob gormley

Rocky Giants

Majestic views, colorful hues,
Aqua and teal blue...

Green and clay tones arise to the sky,
Looking at this, my camera is my eye...

Layer upon layer of limestone and granite,
Makes the mountains magnificent and stand infinite...

In awe we sit, not defiant,
For me to be among these rocky giants...

How insignificant am I, to be,
Yes, creation is beautiful for all to see...

I hope I can leave it for others to view,
After all, creation is for us to leave anew...

R. Gormley
