Roller-Coaster Life Poem by Ibrar Ahmad Siddiqi

Roller-Coaster Life

Waking up every morning with my eyes wide open.
Just got to get up and live my life.
Wishing my life was worry free.
Wishing I could wrap myself in cotton wool.
Or pull the wool over my eyes.
Don't want to leave my bed.
Just want to stay inside my house instead.
Can't hide away any longer.
Got to get on and ride the day that lies ahead.
Jumping hurdles and solving crisis is my thing.
Just living a roller-coaster life.
