Runaway Poem by Kaleb Gonzalez

Runaway

Open up door,
take off from the floor,
look back no,
im gone but i don't know where to go,
left behind my present,
my past is hell sent,
lets hope the future is better,
breaking the habit like a bed wetter,
my feet leave the ground,
but they make no sound,
will nobody miss me,
or even care where i be,
a fly without wings is a walk,
and the past behind is a stalk,
a ghost of my hate,
just waiting for that date,
when i fall down,
and cry on the way to town,
and someone may stop,
before i drop,
as i look at the sky,
and i watch the birds fly,
as they fly away,
it makes me want to runaway,
