Running Away Poem by Nicholas Wayde Turner 24

Running Away

The past few months, I’ve developed a talent of running away.
I run away from my friends.
I run away from my family.
I run away from life.
I ran away from two jobs.
I ran away from my responsibilities.
I knew I needed to confront the problem.
I knew I needed to solve the equation.
But I was too stubborn to do what was right.
Now I’m drowning in this sea of problems.
I don’t know how to swim to shore.
Please…
Help me out of this mess.
I don’t want to run away anymore.
