Running From Myself Poem by John DeBona

Running From Myself

Dreams of raging waters that carry me away.
People I love, left behind.
Train tracks race to nowhere.I cant get there fast enough.
Restless, senseless, wandering through crowded streets, alone.
Strangers, paranoia, and the vapors of loneliness, blend into blackness.
Running, from myself.
