Running in circles or speaking in rhymes
By: Taylor Donnelly
Give me something to fight
but put it in front of me in the fading dim light
live lively and i will find you
and once i do there is nothing to undo
sleeping soundly wrapped in a cocoon
blankets and bodies praying for salvation in a hotel room
i keep running my mouth fallowing my feet
i know i wont change cant change anything, not even the heat
so i grasp at my head and i beat and my legs telling them to stop running
to stop with there childish cunning
what happens to the world if i stop spinning
what happens to you if i stop grinning
the only absolute is that nothing is absolute
and your lying so well i cant refute
i hold only my flesh that will one day leave me as well
i hold logic but all can be disputed to hell
i only have what i say
and you'll use it against me anyway
so take what you can
in the end you'll wish you ran
take what you will
in the end you'll wish to kill
take me
and in the end that's how it will be
