Running In The Streets. Poem by Sam Betts

Running In The Streets.

From the early days we mixed it wrong with people that we meet

It's easy to survive they're not too smart we're cool running in the street

We watched a few get kicked and sniped the leather toes they'd greet, we're way too smart to take that test were running in the street.

We play both sides were so good we think we're really neat, we're not just two council lads running in the street.

The field is big and we evolve with others that we meet we didn't see two council lads growing big on the street.

Here we are in the grit sniped by two we're at there feet, I see your eye you wink goodbye blood running in the street.

Running In The Streets.
