Rusty Hoop Poem by Rodney Russ

Rusty Hoop

Countess Summer's wasted
A sandy, discombobulated basketball court
In dire need of pavement
No dribbling skills needed
Many jammed fingers
Nothing but dust and grass Sweat and sand
You must have a jump shot
Rain delayed the court for weeks
