Sacred Remembrance Poem by Mystic Qalandar

Sacred remembrance,
united with eternal knowledge and wisdom,
awakens consciousness anew
and purifies the soul.

Through remembrance and wisdom,
O Lord of all creation,
Your promise unfolds
within those devoted servants
who serve You with sincere love
and walk in obedience to Your command.

Through sacred remembrance,
I seek to know You—
though You are beyond all knowing.

I seek to know
Your graciousness and beneficence
through that little knowledge and wisdom
You grant me—

a small measure
from Your inexhaustible,
limitless knowledge and wisdom.

Yet even this little knowledge
is enough to awaken me,
to restore me to myself,
and to reveal how little I know.

You bestow upon me
a spiritual wholeness,
a renewed consciousness of being—

as though I were carved
from the stone of Your creative command:

Be.

And in that single command,
I find the mystery of my existence.
