Sacrifice Poem by Gamson Jr Mawallil Quijano

Sacrifice

As I walk straight forward,
My head keeps turning back
To glance at my companions
who walk behind sluggishly
Forsake them I know I cannot

If I had to dive into the deepest blue ocean
By the seashore, I'd rather they wait for me
For even if to surface, I can no longer not,
alive and safe, they shall be!

Even if I had to pluck the moon and the stars
So long they are with me, I will be happy!
Marvelous sights, I wish for them to see
To engulf their hearts-minds-souls in glee!
