Sanity

When you disowned me I went blank
Dead down palpable fear of losing you forever
I cling on flotsam to cover our tracks
In order to be sane.

Years later I found you
And I could not say no to you
Even if I know I will go blank again
And cling again on flotsam to cover our tracks
Hoping this time, unlike ages ago, I will indeed be sane.
