Saved Poem by Bryan Seyffert

Saved

Walking a line between darkness and light
I know the reason for all my plight
Struggling daily with these choices
Constantly fighting the inner voices
Filling me with doubt and fear
I can feel the evil drawing near
Telling me my faith's a lie
Losing control I scream and cry
Running blindly, mind confused
Hadn't I chosen to follow you
Don't I believe your words are true
As I'm running I realize
You're keeping step with all my strides
Right beside me through all my qualms
I take rest in your saving palms.
