Say Hello

No matter where I am today
If well, or feeling low
I’ll come before my God and say
“I’ve come to say hello”

Then as we talk, I’ll stretch my hand
I’ll find my Father’s own
We’ll touch; once more I’ll understand
In Christ, I’m not alone

There’ll be no need to stay at length
We’ll talk again tonight
But in His presence find the strength
And see if all is right

I’ll thank Him for the things He’s done
For life’s eternal Spring
The joy I’ve now in Christ His Son
His song of love I sing

I’ll thank my God for Christ His Lamb
Man’s Key to Heaven’s Door
I’ll thank Him for the way I am
From what I was before

From deep inside the truth I’ll speak
There’ll be no need to shout
With heart and soul His face I’ll seek
Of this I have no doubt

I’ll thank my God for making mine
The Truth The Life The Way
My daily Bread Salvation’s Wine
That’s how to God I’ll pray

That I in Him can now forgive
All those who’ve paid me ill
That in The Truth through Christ I live
To do the Father’s will…
